Zakiya is responsible for all travel arrangements, business and travel reimbursements for the MSE Department. She also coordinates the colloquium events and assists with purchasing. Zakiya is originally from the Dallas area, and a graduate of Sam Houston State University.
Assistant Director, Recruiting and Outreach
Tonya is responsible for managing and coordinating the graduate recruiting efforts in MSE. She works with the faculty admissions/recruiting committees and collaborates with other academic programs to support the strategic goals of the department. Tonya is originally from the Dallas area. She is a graduate of Texas A&M University -Commerce and UT Arlington.
Administrative Services Officer II

Diane is responsible for graduate admissions and managing the purchasing needs of the MSE Department. She also assists with special events and other administrative needs of the MSE team. Diane is originally from Pennsylvania, and a graduate of State University of NY at Buffalo.
Nithya is team lead for the administrative staff, and is responsible for the financial and budgetary management of all cost centers for the MSE faculty, including account and P-card reconciliation. She also assists with budget revisions, interdepartmental transfer of funds, and other matters related to both internal and external research grants received by the faculty. Nithya is originally from India and a graduate of the University of Madras in India.

Julieta is responsible for all the human resources and payroll needs for the MSE Department. She also supports the administrative needs of the department head. Julieta is originally from Mexico. She is a graduate from the University of Texas at Austin and Southern Methodist University.

Ashley is responsible for graduate advising, course scheduling, and graduation. She also assists with curriculum updates and graduate admissions, along with other administrative needs of the MSE team. Ashley is from the Dallas area, and is a graduate of UT Dallas.
