The Fall 2003 SiWEDS Review meeting will be held at the Wyndham Palace Resort & Spa hotel in Orlando. The technical SiWEDS Program will start on Thursday October 16th and will be chaired by George Rozgonyi. A social dinner buffet, for which all  SiWEDS members and guests are cordially invited, is planned for the evening of October 16th. More details about exact room location, program , time schedule and how to get there will be published on this web-site as soon as the details become available.

The program will follow the general format of a two day SiWEDS Review  meetings. In line with the request from the industry members at the spring meeting we will have, as a guest speaker Howard Huff (International SEMATECH), presenting an update on ITRS. In addition we will have a guest speaker on Photovoltaics (roadmap?).  Although, the time for non-SiWEDS speakers is limited, suggestions for non-SiWEDS speakers may be submitted to George Rozgonyi at NC State University.             . 
All those planning to attend the meeting need to make their own reservations with the Wyndham Palace Resort. As this meeting has been arranged to segue with The Electrochemical Society 204nd meeting at the same hotel, you will receive the same reduced rate accommodation as the attendees of the ECS meeting.

The Wyndham Palace Resort & Spa reservations can be made by calling their reservations department directly at  407-827-3333. The deadline for reservations is September 10, 2003. Reservations received after the deadline will only be accepted on a space available basis. Be sure to mention that you are planning to attend the 204th Meeting of  The Electrochemical Society (room block #10577AQ),  in order to obtain the special reduced convention rate. The special ECS/SiWEDS meeting rate  is:

            Single or double occupation - $159/night + tax (normally $189 + tax + 11.5% resort fee)
                                          (note: the resort fee is waived for  meeting attendees)

SPECIAL NOTES:

1. On the reservation page a resort fee will be stated in addition to your room rate and tax. The resort fee is normally due at check-in, however it has been waived for the ECS/SiWEDS group and you will not be charged for this resort fee.

2. You may consider to join "Wyndham By Request"  Club (see join "Wyndham By Request" at the top left side of the Wyndham Palace Resort & Spa homepage). This is free of charge and members will receive benefits e.g. free local and domestic long distance calls, free high-speed internet, frequent flyer mileage points.
