SiWEDS Spring 2003 Review Meeting at Stanford University, CA,  April 24 and 25, 2003

MEETING REGISTRATION FORM 

The Spring 2003 SiWEDS Review meeting will be held at the Stanford University in Palo Alto, CA. The technical SiWEDS Program will start on Thursday, April 24th. Adjournment is planned for Friday April 25th at 4:30PM. The program will follow the general format of previous SiWEDS Spring meetings, with progress presentations from professors, post-docs and students on current SiWEDS projects. In addition, we plan to finalize the selection of the new SiWEDS research project for 2003-2004 at this meeting. Piero Pianetta from the Stanford University will host the meeting. A social dinner buffet, for which all  SiWEDS members and guests are cordially invited, is planned for the evening of April 24th at the Westin hotel in Palo Alto. More details about meeting room and  location, social diner, program , time schedule and how to get there will be published on this web-site as soon as the details become available.  On  Wednesday April 23, in the afternoon around 3:00PM, the Stanford Synchrotron Radiation Laboratory (SSRL) will be available for a visit by early arriving meeting attendees. 

For conference attendees we have arranged a guaranteed reservation and special group rate of $209/night (normally $289) at the Westin hotel in Palo Alto, which is a few minutes drive from the Stanford campus. Reservations can be made by calling directly the hotel reservations department at 650-321-4422 or via email at WestinReservation@pahotel.com. Those calling in reservations must mention SiWEDS Conference, in order to receive the group rate. Reservations made via email must include the following: Guest Name, Arrival/Departure Date, Phone#, and Group Name (SiWEDS Conference). To guarantee a reservation one must give a credit card number and expiration date.                                                 

The reservation cut-off date is Wednesday, April 9, 2003. Any reservations received after the cut-off date will be taken on a space available basis and the group rate is no longer be guaranteed. Note: other conferences are going-on at the same time period in Palo Alto, so please make your reservations as soon as possible.
