Dr. William Vandenberghe

Dr. William Vandenberghe served as the general chair of the 2022 Executive Committee for the IEEE Semiconductor Interface Specialists Conference which was held in San Diego, California from December 7-10, 2022.  Topics included semiconductor/insulator interfaces, the physics of insulating thin films and the interaction among materials science, device physics and state-of-the-art technology.

Dr. Orlando Auciello

Dr. Orlando Auciello received the 2022 Top Honorable Mention at the worldwide Create the Future Design Contest for a new squid glaucoma shunt, developed with Dr. Karanjit Kooner from UT Southwestern Medical Center.
