Lab Safety Policy

ALL PERSONNEL working in an MSE laboratory MUST be trained and certified in laboratory safety BEFORE ACCESS IS GRANTED.

BioRAFT is the online research management platform used for safety training. Courses are associated with the safety requirements and functions unique to each lab.

Training and certification is obtained by:

• PI/Lab Manager adds individual to BioRAFT profile.
• Log in to the system using your UTD NetID and password.
• Complete online training modules.
• System will update automatically, upon completion of the training modules.
